Welcome to the family! Jing2, older sister gave birth to a bouncing baby boy today @ 9:30 am.
I pity jing2 and her family coz their cot was just placed in the hallway together with the MANY new mums... when I asked her why such a situation, twas because she didnt have a private doctor. Patients with a private doctor are assigned to a better and clean rooms.

Nways, We are all happy to welcome her new son to the family. Yoj, seems a little worried coz he's no longer the only son of jing2. :-)

Half Blood Prince

I'm a big fan of JK Rowling's Harry Potter series. Yesterday, the 6th book, entitled "Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince" was delivered to me by an authorized distributor of Grolier books which sells Children's Encyclopedia (for Ella & Gan-gan).

Honestly, now that I have the book, i'm hesitant to read it because I know one of the best loved characters in the series (Albus Dumbledore) will die in the hands of the half blood prince... I just love his role in the lives of HP and Co. that i dont want him to die. I wonder why JK have to end book 6 this way? But of course, as every fan knows, JK has a flair for the UNEXPECTED.

But I guess i'll let Mama read the book first... not because i'm hesitant to read book6 but because I owe this book to her. Without her permission to purchase the books, I would not have the joy experienced by the rest of the millions JK rowling fans.

But Ma, promise me that you wont spoil my enthusiam by telling me the details of the book, huh?

I consider my HP books as my treasure which I can share to my children a few years from now. I just hope that they will have the same interests in books as me when the right time comes.

I don't want to feel hopeless living in this country. But living everyday in this country is really difficult.... the escalating prices of commodities, low salaries, babbling politicians, rallies in the streets, crimes.... etc... it's realy frustrating...

"Lakas ng apog" is what one need to survive...

Thanks God I have Gan-gan and Ella and Papa to make me strong and give me the will to go on...

I really pity my kids, at their young age they already experienced the crisis (economic) around them. We find it hard to provide them the best. Our income is barely enough for their milk...
We can't give much to our kids because we have less. What we have much is LOVE, lots and lots of it... So Kuya and Ella LOVe is the only thing that we can give you that would not change... irregardless of the economic situation of Mama and Papa, this deterioting country, the world that sorrounds us.... Love is enough reason to continue to move on, to be good, to be GOD centered... We love you mga anak... I love you Pa.

Im an NBA fan, a SPURS fan.

I have this NBA computer game of EA Sports, but its still version 2003... naturally, its rosters are that of 3 seasons ago... which means that
1.) O' Neil is still a Laker,
2.)LeBron and Dwane doesnt exist,
3.)Jordan is still playing!!!
4.)Malone & Stockton still do the pick n rolls
5.)Bobcats are not around

Luckily, SA Spurs already have Manu & Tony... with the support of David Robinson!!!

I tried to install nBA 2005 but my video card is not capable... its OLDsolete!

I hope someday i 'l be able to upgrade my computer...

Long Vacation

I've been absent for 4 days to rest my head after experiecing headaches due to a bad fall last Sept. 30.

We went to Cebu City for a check-up with Dr. Pesquera, a neuro surgeon. After a thorough check-up and an EEG (a procedure that attached my head to several wires connected in a sophisticated computer), Thanks God that I am OK! Theres NO damage in my head!!! Doc said I only suffered from a post traumatic headache, and will subside after a few days.

We brought with us Gan2x. And boy!! he was so facinated with the scalators!! He even went the WRONG WAY when he attempted to go up in a downward scalator!

Rides? Of course! Wi th no fear Gan2x ride the Merry Go Round, The Train, the Plane, Taxi, Payloader, Jetski, Motorcycle, the Benz, JBC BackHoe, Jeeps, etc! etc!

Thanks to mana Amy for lending us the money for our expenses in CEbu... (payable with our Year End Bonus)

Its been years now that avid followers of both ABS-CBN and GMA-7 are trying to prove each other which network is better. Before, I used to watch shows from both channels, but little by little, unknowingly, I found out that my heart belongs to the Kapuso Network. Not just me, even Mama loves GMA more than that of talents or shows from the rival channel.

Simply lang naman ang criteria namin... GMA news and public affairs team are more professional and more totoo in their work. GMA talents are more talented than taht of the other channel, simply lang sila pero astig!

Even the network president of GMA seems much more maka masa than the Lopez's.

Gan-gans playmound


Gan2x loves to play in that small mound of sand. Not a day will pass that he never make a climb in that small mountain that he claims his own. Whenever he reach the top, he stands there like a fulfilled mountaineer being able to conquer the challenges of Mt. Everest. Then he'll slide down to it with no fear!

I am planning to visit the doctor today coz i feel somethings wrong with my head... not that I am going nuts, but really... i feel somethings wrong with it. I FEEL DIZZY ALMOST EVERY NOW & THEN since saturday, and todays already tuesday!

I bumped my head in the headboard real hard friday night, hitting the back part of my head right in the corner post of the bed. I still got concussions til now, it still hurts when i press my hand on that portion.

When i was still in grade 2, i got hit by a car. I was brought to the hospital due to injuries in my head. After some x-rays, the doc said that there seems to be a crack in my skull... i dont know how true is his diagnosis.

During my high school and college days, i started to experience sudden pain in my head. Like a line of pain from the front to the back of me head... a seering pain from within. I experience this every time i look or turn my head quickly in another direction (it's hard to explain in writing). But i ignored those circumstances.

Lately, the pain somewhat got deeper or stronger... I started to feel worried thats why everytime i experienced it, i always told mama.

Last week while playing basketball, i suddenly feel the pain in my head. I almost got blocked out! I stopped playing for a while, but then palyed again when the pain subsided.

I just hope theres nothing wrong with me... I'm too young to be worried about injuries in my head like that.... Despite, Ive got a lot of reasons to live! Theres Gan2x! Ella and Mama!

What happened then?

Last Friday, Sept 30, 2005, smwd personnels headed by warak, 2 DENR personnels and a platoon size of Policemen went to Parang2x watershed area to conduct a raid on the illegal logging and illegal small scale mining activities said to be present in the area. The group left the office at about 8:00am.

At about 11am, the raid was reported to be completed with evidence of illegal activities being taken by the group. They took their lunch at around 12pm.

At about 12:45pm, as the raiding team was about to go home, they were ambushed by members of the --------- as claimed by their spokesperson, Kumander Ka M----. 4 policemen died in an instant... all sustained gonshot wounds in the head and various parts of their body. SMWD personnel including warak were trapped in the gunfight, scrambling for cover from every boulders they could find. Distress calls from their handheld radios were received by the office immediately.

They asked for re-enforcements and a dump truck to evacuate them from the ambush site. Smwd personnel moved swiftly, calling every agencies that we deemed necessary. Rescue units were dispatched and re-inforcement from the 4th IB were called. The city govt provided us with a dump truck after 2 local contractors refused to help.

Here comes my part:
The truck driver needs somebody to guide him for he dont know the way to the site. GM Ben asked me to do the job, and I accepted it without hesitation. Mama, realizing the danger I am about to do, pleaded me to change my mind. But she couldnt do anything to stop me, there are so many people waitng for the truck in parang2x... how can I turn my back to them? How can I turn my back to my friend warak?

Immediately, i instructed the driver to drive fast, for every single second counts.

We reached the sight of our rendezvous with warak after 30 minutes. Gunshots are still all over the place. Immediately, warak and the rest of the smwd personnel board the truck for cover.
